LOST Discussion (spoilers included)

Half way through the season before they move to Hollywood was it for me. I got really bored with it. Which is odd considering the extensive implied nudity and gore-ish "surgeries" they performed.

The first five minutes of yesterday episode was the coolest five minutes this season. I really like the parallel story It's pretty funny sometimes The part on the island was also interesting... looks like Jarrah already gave up... can't wait for the Richard's episode next week !!

I've been wanting to get into this series for a while now, since I've heard nothing but good things about it, but I don't know where to start. I don't want to watch a random episode on G4 and be lost (no pun intended).

What should I do? Just rent a DVD for Season 1 or something?

if you want to watch the show, you HAVE TO start with pilot and end with last episode... if you don't, you won't get any clue what the hell is happening, because in Lost, even if you are watching from the first episode, you still don't get a lot of things and you will be confused every time you see a new episode... LOST is kinda hard to watch, because with every season, the story changes so much and so much new things arrive in, you are just... well... lost if you would watch some of a recent episodes without seeing earlier seasons, I guarantee to you that you wouldn't understand even a single event or sentence in it, you would just spoiled the story for yourself... so rent the DVD, or buy the DVD, or just download the episodes from the web, or watch it streaming somewhere, start from the first episode and you will see if you like it... for me, Lost is definitely the best thing I've ever seen on TV ( even I don't like the 6th season so much ).

Thanks. Makes me want to watch it. I just checked, and Lost is on Hulu (as far as I can tell, every episode that's out), so I plan to give it a go sometime since I haven't anything to lose. Looking forward to giving it a try.

Watch it! It does drag on in areas but trust me, your questions will be answered! Even if they aren't for two seasons, they will.

Not that I write Spanish well enough to use it but it is just too damn inconvenient to put accent marks on letters on the computer. Also I am personally against the use of two question marks in one sentence. Who wrote the language, the joker? Also why is the first one backwards? POR QUE???

Say you're reading the sentence aloud, it's very convenient knowing it's a question at the beginning so you don't sound like you've got some sort of complex trying to switch your pitch and enunciation at the last second. In many ways Spanish is a better designed language than English, in my opinion. Don't have the patience to master it though...
