Well, if you do switch to the new Gears Of War game you don't need to make an overly complicated storyline, no need to spend a half a year to explaining it. Also I would avoid using a cheesy story line, such as one involving a big explosion that blasts everyone into the future. Hey! Some of RvB's funniest episodes were from when they initially switched to Halo 2!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to GoW too. But I don't think they'll ship it in the same season as Halo. You can't have to Xbox exclusives that are as big hitters as those two come out in the same Holiday season.

You were deeply traumatized by this weren't you? I actually enjoyed those days of RedvsBlue, but if Gears of War 3 does come out, we won't be acknowledging the change, unless we absolutely have to. My biggest fear is Ronny's character, being signified by the golden lancer, he will not make the transition very well, should the golden lancer not make it to Gears 3.

Lastly is the fear that the COG skin won't return, or that it'll be greatly modified.

I've heard from 1 interview they had with epic about gears of war 3 and epic said that if gears of war 3 comes out, it will come out for the next xbox console, it wolud suck if that happened, wouldn't it ??

We were going to cover that in Rumblings but skimmed over it...Actually what the people at Epic said was "If Gears was going to be made in the Unreal 4 engine...it wouldn't be out until the next generation of consoles...since the Unreal 4 engine is being made for next generation consoles.

The next Xbox won't be coming out for years though! I don't think that's true. Natal is coming out this year, and they've got to try to get at least two (probably no more than four) years out of that.

I think Gears of War 3 is going to be out late next year. It can't come out this year. (It hasn't even been announced yet!) And they wouldn't be doing a big-hitter exclusive justice by giving it a January or Summer 2011 release. My bet is October. That's a release far enough ahead of Holiday Season to build some popularity, and its not to far away from Black Friday. And they'll also be able to work in some Halloween themed adverts (especially if the game will have some horror like they promised in the first GoW).

Well I hope that gears of war 3 comes out for 360, also i don't think it's a good idea for microsoft to make a new console with very few games.
