Jimmy is my favorite character so far.

It's funny that both of you posted so recently...After the release of Episode 7, people have been complaining, cursing and screaming about both of those characters. But I like them a lot too.

Giving it more thought, I think my favorite character is Sam. I always know what to write for him, something bitter and sarcastic.

My favorite is Sam too. I still love the episode where he says: "See that, Mathis?! See what happens when you just shut up and let me aim!"

Obviously I like all of the characters, but Jimmy is by far my least favorite to write for. Or rather, I should say he's the most difficult to write for. You have to watch out for making his lines too repetitive or predictable.

As a side note: Out of Service Drinking game - have a drink any time Jimmy says "oh my god".

I think the hardest part about editing Jimmy, at least audio wise, is that there are so many situations as Bijan pointed out where Jimmy's reaction can make or break a scene. Chances are, he's gonna be cowering in fear screaming, "Oh my god!" While this can get repetitive it really works so I try to pick out different variations of the saying like, "Oh my lord!" Other good ones we haven't really looked into could be, "Holy Moses!" "Oh Vishnu!" And the tactfully phrased, "Oh fuck!"
